Our Emergency Response in South Punjab
Faith Foundation launched rapid, targeted flood-relief operations across South Punjab, focusing on vulnerable and high-risk communities. Through coordinated field work and community-based outreach, we supported more than 100,000 beneficiaries with essential aid.
Bringing Hope to Punjab Against All Odds
In 2025, Punjab faced one of its most devastating flood emergencies in recent memory. Torrential monsoon rains, overflowing rivers, and widespread breaches in embankments led to the submersion of entire communities. Thousands of villages were inundated, agricultural lands were destroyed, and critical infrastructure—including roads, homes, and water systems—was severely damaged.
Families were displaced overnight, losing access to food, shelter, medical care, and clean water. With livelihoods disrupted and local resources overwhelmed, urgent humanitarian assistance became essential for survival.
Why Our Relief Efforts Matter:
Most families lost access to basic necessities:
Villages were submerged; homes and markets Destroyed
No access to cooking fuel or functional kitchens
Clean water scarcity created severe health risks
Rising food prices pushed vulnerable groups into extreme insecurity
Children, elderly, and Widows faced the Highest Risk of Malnutrition
- Animals were carefully selected to meet Islamic criteria for age, health, and quality.
- Slaughtering was conducted strictly according to Shariah, in the presence of qualified scholars.
- Meat was cooked, canned, packed, and sealed under hygienic, certified conditions.
- Every can met long-term preservation standards suitable for crisis zones.
What Essentials We Delivered
To support families in temporary shelters or exposed environments, we distributed:
- Mosquito nets to protect against waterborne and vector-borne diseases
